Welcome to Niner Nation!
Transition & Belonging assists students and families in successfully transitioning to UNC Charlotte. Our team is committed to providing engaging and meaningful experiences for new and continuing students from their first year and beyond. Additionally, we work to keep families and student supporters informed to provide the best support system possible to their students.
Transition & Belonging supports new students and First-Generation Niners in their transition to Charlotte to enhance their sense of belonging throughout their Niner experience. Niners will be empowered to utilize the resources available to them and build community who supports their personal and professional growth.
Our staff, programs, and services uphold the following values:
- Community – Co-creating an environment of mutual support where students, families, and supporters matter and belong.
- Growth – Committing to excellence through continuous improvement, learning, and development.
- Pride – Celebrating the value we bring to Niner Nation, instilling Niner Pride in all that we do.
- Empowerment – Supporting Niners with the tools, connections, and confidence to succeed at Charlotte and beyond.
