Joselyn joined the Transition & Belonging team as a Program Assistant in January 2026. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Communication Studies with a concentration in Health Communication. Joselyn is passionate about higher education and being able to be the first in her family to earn a degree, which is what led her to be interested in Transition & Belonging.  

To Joselyn, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte has felt like her home since the moment she stepped on campus. From the support of the Levine Scholars Program, familiarity with Latinx student organizations, and the overall vibrant culture of the campus. 

In her free time, Joselyn enjoys spending time with her friends, shopping, reading, listening to music, watching history documentaries, trying new foods, and exploring Charlotte!
